I—for some unremembered reason—have not seen an episode of this show for about a year. I don’t recall, exactly, the reason, as I’ve implied. Perhaps, I think that the promotional commercials gave the impression that they might be running out of material.

Well, I saw the marathon today, January 1, 2016, and I can’t remember when I laughed so much.

I spent seven years working in the “lesbian haven” of Northampton, Massachusetts–the “Five College Area”; Smith, Amherst, Hampshire, Mt. Holyoke and U. of Mass, see TIME Magazine cover, mid-1990’s, which I can not find—and one year in Santa Fe, New Mexico: Those are my bona-fidis on the subject. Oh, I forgot, that I had spent three-decades—on and off—spending time in New Paltz, New York. I’ve taken to using a picture as my avatar that was taken on my cell-phone at “The Boot”, winter 2008, near the river in that town: People change the “art-work” on the stone structure over time.
